Colorado Springs deserves its own post as we got to see and spend time with our nephew whom we consider one of our “Boys, one of our Sons”.
We have been a part of his life since he was 4. Our families were inseparable and did everything together for years. We have watched him grow, watched him struggle and been there every step of the way. His parents struggled with their marriage and our house was no longer just a place to go, it turned into his home.
Sadly, his father passed away in 2010 but my husband had always told Uncle Mark that we’d take care of his boy if anything ever happened and that’s what we’ve gladly done even before that tragic day. Sure do love this boy whom has become a man!! We are his “family” that loves him unconditionally……we have laughed with him, cried with him, scolded him and hugged him tight.
I know that this post doesn’t really say much about Colorado Springs but I can tell you that it is a huge city way bigger than I had imagined. I learned that there’s not just an Army base but there’s an Airforce Base too. We walked a little downtown but spent the majority of the little bit of time we had having dinner and enjoying our time with Tucker before having to head back down the road to the next destination!
For now this is all I have on Colorado Springs….we should be back on our way home in a couple of weeks but if not for sure the end of September…..So until next time, “See you soon”, Colorado Springs and Tucker!!
Love Un-Conditionally…..Family, Friends…our Loved Ones are NOT always biological, they are not always blood and they are not always even related by marriage. Everyone just wants to be loved and accepted for who they are. YOU…ME…WE can make the difference to someone by just caring, by being kind or even a little harsh when necessary. Love is free to give, kindness is free to give, smiles and laughter are free to give, hugs are free to give…..make the difference to someone but ask for NOTHING in return. Just show some unconditional love once in awhile and I know you’ll be a little happier on the inside. Thanks for reading my thoughts……..Robin Robinson
Happy Mothers Day to ALL of the Mothers out there!!! 😊
No matter where you are, who you are, what kind of a mom you are, no matter what the situation of your “Mothering” role you deserve some credit and accolades…..not just today but every day!!
A “Mom” has many meanings…..
A “Mom” wears many hats……
A “Mom” often has many children besides her own……
A “Mom” is Nurturing with UnConditional Love…..
A “Mom” is not perfect but does the best that she can……
A “Mom” is a mom, sometimes we only have one…sometimes we have many…..regardless, love Your Mom(s) unconditionally, appreciate them and tell them that YOU LoVe them!!
Happy Mothers Day!!!!
Oh, how I have been ever so preoccupied and silent………my apologies for anyone whom may have missed me!! There’s more important things then spending hours on electronics to see what’s happening with everything and what I have missed!! 😉
How can anyone NOT fall in L💖VE with babies? They are just so innocent, precious and one of Gods greatest blessings!! I have 3 wonderful sons whom are young men…..this is one of my darling nieces that I watch one day a week.
Let go of the negatives of yesterday, of your Past!! Start focusing on YOU…..on what makes you Happy…..on what makes you Better…..on what Inspires you…..on what YOU want out of Life….Y.O.L.O……..DO what is Best for YOU, not anyone else!!
A HAPPIER YOU makes for Happier Surroundings, Happier Family and Creates a Happier & Healthier Life!!! Happy Thursday Everyone, may you all find your simple Blessings…….Smile Brightly, Laugh Often & Enjoy what Life has to offer!!!

SWEET SUCCESS, literally!!!! 😃🍪🍬🍪 To my son Tyler – United States Marine & my nephew Tucker – United States Army………I just finished packaging up another goodie box for each of you!! 👍
It may be a little overkill since I just sent ya one at Christmas but I just couldn’t help myself!!! 😉 So PROUD of you BOTH, you two bring a great big smile to my face often and fill my heart with joy!! You have both chosen to Serve our Country and I believe it takes Special Men & Women to make this choice….
To anyone with Military family and/or friends whom are serving…..let them know often that you are thinking of them, PROUD of them and anything else that’s gone unsaid or only said once in awhile!! You are still doing your normal but they are the ones away from their family and friends Serving our Great Country and I know they miss home now and then. Encouraging, kind words and knowing they are loved helps make Military life easier, especially if they are newbies and still just adjusting! Thanks for reading my thoughts…….Robin Robinson
Such a cold beginning to my morning with 11 degrees and icy windows on the Yukon but it didn’t take long for my heart to be warmed with such a cute smile from Emery and Brenna this morning!!!
I am so blessed and thankful for the little things, the big things and the simple pleasure life has to offer!!! 😃Although, NOT long after the cute smiles Em decides it was time to bless Auntie Robin with a surprise in her diaper!!! LOL
Take each day to look around and notice what hidden blessings you truly have around you….we are ALL so truly blessed but unfortunately we let a thing called “Everyday Life” fog our vision!!
Stop, look around, think about who and what you have and I bet it will make you feel good, may even make you smile!!! Enjoy your beautiful day….I too shall enjoy the day with my niece and the beautiful white snow while it lasts!!! Thanks for reading my thoughts……..Robin Robinson
